Artwork
Traditional, Digital, Photography, & Web Design.
Ok I finally updated and put my digital media coursework up, as well as some new photos that I skipped over before.  I took down the traditional art simply because, until I get my scanner working, seeing digital photos of my oil paintings and drawings just don't do them justice.

On the left, you can surf my web design, digital artwork, traditional artwork, photography, and some sketches that I am currently working on.  A selection of my personal favorites are below.

Digital - Puzzle
A photo of Charlie Checkpoint in east Berlin, manipulated with Flash (for smooth drawing since I lacked a vector program) and Photoshop.

It was very easy to make, but very effective.  I was going for realism.  This is one of three manipulations of the same photo, but the only one of the triptych I was actually happy about.

Photography - Al Alhambra Harem
I admit, the subject of my photography is infinitely better than any photographic skill I may have.  However, I am particularly pleased with this one.

Done in digital camera, and then slightly edited to get rid of a couple wandering tourists.  The picture is of, yes, a harem building in the Alhambra in Granada, Spain, built when the Moors still ruled over the southern half of Spain.  These types of building were a dime a dozen, and I have several photos of this sort in my photography online.

Web Design - The Beowulf Website
Originally created to use as the online presentation of my senior thesis, I opted instead to use something much simpler (and without bugs) rather than this one.  It is more art than practicality for web design, but I like it anyway and it suits being set among my artwork.  The left decoration is actually *cough* from the gothic period, but I'll forgive myself seeing as the original Beowulf had no illustrations and the font was far from having artistic merit.

**Currently, there is a bug with it in the newest Firefox 1.5, so it is best viewed in Internet Explorer.
