Because teleporters only work if the player's origin, located in the pelvis, moves through the teleporter radius, large players could not use teleporters at all.  I then created mini-teleporters - small doors that fit the size of the smallest players.  I decreased the radius on these so that only the small size could use them, and then placed them near all the 'Drink Me' pick-ups to allow easy escapes.
